In 2004 he came to the United States as a postdoc at UC Berkeley. In 2007 he moved for a second postdoc at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. In 2010 he joined the LBNL theory group as a Divisional Fellow. He spent the major part of 2011 on leave at CERN as a Fellow and the Academic year 2013-14 at the University of Michigan as Associate Professor.

Research interests

My main research interests lie in particle physics Beyond the Standard Model (BSM). I have been connecting the theoretical ideas for “new physics” to a wide range experiments and working out the implications of their results for our knowledge of what can still awaits for us beyond the Standard Model of particle physics. Over the years I have studied the results and proposed new searches for a variety of experiments spanning from colliders searching directly for new particles such as the LHC to indirect searches from precision experiment, especially in flavor physics, to indirect searches of Dark Matter in cosmic and gamma ray observatories and neutrino telescopes. I focus my current interests on those areas which are yielding the largest amount of new experimental data, presently being the LHC and Dark Matter detection experiments. I am also involved in developing tools to simplify the process of connecting LHC experimental results with new physics theoretical models.

Selected publications

(For a full list of my publications see here.)

Natural SUSY endures, with J.
